Bowling Green High School

The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Alex Xu is the October 2023 Student of the Month.

He is a senior at BGHS and the son of Hong Xu and Lan Li.

His school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society, a BGHS representative at Buckeye Boys State, Model UN, and College Board National Recognition awardee.

Xu is involved in the high school football, swim, and track teams. He was awarded 1st team NLL for swimming last year.

Additionally, he participates in the Greater Toledo International Youth Orchestra, Toledo Minds Stem Camp, and a research internship at BGSU. He currently has a composite ACT score of 31 and a 4.52 grade point average.

After high school, Xu is still undecided of where he will attend college, but plans to study engineering.
