Featuring seven concerts over three days, Bowling Green State University will host the 44th annual Bowling Green New Music Festival from Thursday-Saturday in the Moore Musical Arts Center and streaming live online.

Highlights of this year’s festival include a talk by guest composer Marcos Balter on Thursday and a performance by ensemble Dal Niente, a Chicago-based contemporary chamber orchestra, on Friday. Special performances by the duo andPlay and T.H.E. Modern Dance Company are also planned.

All events are free and open to the public except for the closing orchestral and choral concerts. Tickets are available for purchase online at BGSU.edu/the-arts/tickets.

Organized by the MidAmerican Center for Contemporary Music and the BGSU College of Musical Arts, the festival supports the creation of new work while engaging the university and surrounding communities in the pursuit of music appreciation and awareness.
