Knights rebound from deficit to beat Oak Harbor, 3-2

TONTOGANY — After trailing by two goals early in the match, Otsego boys soccer came back to defeat Oak Harbor, 3-2, on Senior Night in a Northern Buckeye Conference match Wednesday.

Otsego improves to 2-10-2 overall with a 1-3-1 NBC record, while the Rockets fall to 3-8-3 and 0-4-1.

Otsego fell behind quickly, 2-0, inside the first 15 minutes. With five minutes left in the half Anthony Jung played Walker Waitt through on goal.

The on-rushing Oak Harbor goalie took Walker out inside the box resulting in a straight red and penalty kick which was converted by Hudson Thomas.

In the second half, Walker played a cross which turned into a shot due to the wind and found the net, 2-2, assisted by Luke Fuller.

With 10 minutes left Hudson Thomas dribbled by two players and hit a left-footed shot outside the box for the win, assisted by Zach Eilert.
