Is BG getting an Applebee’s

Applebee’s may be coming to Bowling Green.

On Aug. 16, RMH Franchise Holdings Inc. purchased land at 1175 S. Main St., which is located south of Colony Lane and across Ohio 25 from Home Depot.

RMH Franchise Holdings is an Applebee’s franchisee.

Heather Sayler, planning director for the city, confirmed that Applebee’s has applied for a building permit, which has yet to be issued.

A message was left with the engineering firm in charge of the project, but no response was received.
