2nd annual Senior Safety Expo to bring resources together for Wood County seniors

PERRYSBURG — Safe Communities of Wood County and the Perrysburg Fire Division are teaming up for the 2nd Annual Senior Safety Expo.

The Senior Safety Expo will bring together a number of local resources to help seniors understand the importance of staying safe. Things such as preventing falls, poisonings, and burns, as well as avoiding scams and elder abuse.

The event is Friday at Perrysburg Fire Division Headquarters, 26100 Fort Meigs Road.

The schedule of events will be as follows:

Senior resource information booths: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Free lunch and learn: 12-1 p.m.

Senior resource presentations: 1-2 p.m.
