Prep Roundup: BG boys soccer remains undefeated at 6-0

FREMONT — Max Haynes got his fourth clean sheet of the season as the Bowling Green boys soccer team shut out Fremont Ross in Northern Lakes League Cardinal Division action Thursday.

Grant Sonner led BG, scoring twice, and Luca Brininger added one goal for the Bobcats. Both Brininger and Sonner have a team-leading 13 points apiece, each with six goals and one assist.

The Bobcats are unbeaten at 6-0, having outscored opponents 18-2, and are 4-0 in the Cardinal Division, good enough for first place.

Bowling Green 166, Fremont Ross 171

FREMONT — Bowling Green boys golf defeated Fremont Ross 166-171 at Fremont Country Club Thursday.

With the victory the Bobcats improve to 3-1 and are tied for first place in the Cardinal Division of the newly-expanded NLL. The Bobcats were led by Brandon Schoenherr with 38, Nathan Cavanagh 39, Seth Gollehon 43 and Ryan Thomas 46.

Bowling Green Green 200, Fremont Ross 226

At Bowling Green Country Club, Lily Pollick shot a 43 to lead the Bobcats to a 200-226 Northern Lakes League victory over Fremont Ross Thursday.

Sophia Fruth shot 51, Deanna Burt scored 53, and Brynn Wilhelm shot 53 for the Bobcats. For the Little Giants, Jenna Ollom shot 50, Olivia Anstead had a 55, Brenah Parker shot 57 and Morgan Batey shot 64.

Perrysburg 130, Findlay 179

FINDLAY — The Perrysburg girls golf team defeated Findlay 130-179 in a Northern Lakes League match at Findlay Country Club Thursday. Perrysburg scores were Sydney Deal with a 39, Ariyah Ellis 43, Olivia Eisaman 47, and Mia Moffitt 50.
