The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is planning a Citizen’s Police Academy.

The academy will be held Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m., starting Sept. 14 and continuing to Nov. 16.

Participants will learn about the operations of the sheriff’s office and the duties of the sheriff.

Class size is limited. Complete an application by going to www.woodcountysheriff.com and clicking on 2023 Citizen’s Police Academy no later than Tuesday.
