Herman, Whalen lead Flyers past Rangers, 33-0

NORTHWOOD — Lake churned out 252 yards rushing in downing Northwood, 33-0, Friday in the Battle of Lemoyne Road. The Flyers are 1-1 while the Rangers fall to 0-2.

Joah Herman ran for 100 yards on 13 carries, Izyck Whalen ran for 95 yards on 14 carries, and quarterback Carter Behlmer completed 9-of-16 passes for 117 yards with one interception.

Whalen started the scoring on a six-yard touchdown run and later in the first quarter, he scored again on a one0yard run. In the second quarter, Whalen scored on an eight-yard run.

Lake had 20 first downs to Northwood’s three.
