Eldor Henry Cohrs, age 81, of Perrysburg, OH passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, August 19, 2023 in Liberty Center while taking a motorcycle ride on his Harley.

He was born on June 11, 1942 in Deshler, OH to Carl and Hilda (Seaman) Cohrs. On July 20, 1963 he married the love of his life Dale M. Conklin in Deshler, OH. They raised one daughter and celebrated just over 60 years of marriage together.

Eldor worked at Cargotec in Perrysburg as a Maintenance Supervisor for 25 plus years. He enjoyed being in the outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, riding his Harley and participating in historic reenactments. He enjoyed working with wood making toys, tools, shelves you name it.

He had an extensive adopted family, and was known to be the “candy man,” shooting of the candy canon at the Tiffin Festival each year. He had many loves, but his greatest love was his family, especially his grand and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Dale, Eldor is survived by his daughter: Karri Danner, grandson: Andrew (Chelsea) Riedel and grandson-in-law: Robert Vasquez, all of Walbridge; great-grandchildren: Sean, Rylee, and Sophie. Sister: Lois (Carlan) Badenhop; and brother: Carl (Donna) Cohrs Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter: Jennifer Vasquez and brother: Victor Cohrs.

The family is planning a service of life to be announced at future date.
