Get backpacks blessed at Sunday rally

LUCKEY — A Rally Sunday and Blessing of the Backpacks will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 303 Park Drive, on Sunday.

There will be an inflatable obstacle course, skee ball, a magician, a balloon twister, face painting, games, axe throwing, root beer floats, cornhole and hotdogs.

The event will be from 9 a.m.-noon.

There will be a 20-minute worship service at 10 a.m. to bless all the backpacks. Attendees — youth, collegiate, teachers — are invited to bring their backpacks. This is a community event and everyone is welcome.

LifeWise will also be at Rally Sunday to answer any questions regarding Christian education during the school day.
