The Falcons’ annual BGSU Baseball Alumni Golf Outing is set for a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start at Stone Ridge in Bowling Green on Sept. 30.

Check-in will begin at 12:30 p.m. and run until 1:15 p.m. before the scheduled start at 1:30 p.m. Following the event there will be a dinner for all participants, beginning at 6 p.m.

The Falcons are coming off their third season under head coach Kyle Hallock. During the Hallock Era, the Falcons have witnessed Kyle Gurney becoming just the second player in program history to receive Academic All-America honors multiple times.

Additionally, D.J. Newman was named a Freshman All-American by four different media outlets on top of being named MAC Freshman Pitcher of the Year and First-Team All-MAC as a DH at the conclusion of the 2023 season.

The season also included a win over No. 5 Louisville, the program’s first win against a Top 5 opponent. The team has posted a program-record for Academic All-MAC selections each season under Hallock, culminating in a league-high 17 this year and a total of 42 honorees over his three seasons.
