BG streets close for Friday’s Firefly Nights

In conjunction with the Firefly Nights festival scheduled on Friday, certain street closures and parking restrictions will be imposed in downtown.

On-street parking will be prohibited on Main Street, from Court to Washington streets, and on East Clough Street, from Main to Prospect Street, at 2 p.m.

Main Street, from Court to Washington, and East Clough Street, from Main to Prospect, will close to traffic at 4 p.m. While Main is closed, no through traffic will be permitted on Clough. Wooster Street will remain open for east and westbound traffic.

During the Main Street closure, detour routes for local and truck traffic will be posted.

All streets will reopen and parking will be reinstated on Friday following the event.
