A Perrysburg man has pleaded guilty of illegal use of a minor.
Lawrence Nusbaum, 50, appeared Monday in the courtroom of Wood County Common Pleas Judge Molly Mack.
He pleaded guilty to the indicted charge of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, a felony of the fifth degree.
According to Wood County Assistant Prosecutor Charles McDonald, Perrysburg Township Police was referred by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force of an IP address the that had been flagged.
A search warrant was done on June 16, 2022, of Nusbaum’s home and during an interview he admitted to viewing images of a minor female who was nude.
Mack said she could impose a sentence of six-12 months in prison.
Nusbaum will have to register as a Tier I sex offender, which will require him to register annually for 15 years.
Sentencing was scheduled for Sept. 22.
