A Findlay man accused of committing rape when he was 11 years old has pleaded not guilty.

Mitchell Kubacki, 20, was arraigned Monday in the courtroom of Wood County Common Pleas Judge Molly Mack.

The case, on approval of all parties, was transferred to common pleas court from juvenile court.

A bill of information for two counts of rape was filed May 22.

According to court documents, from Aug. 1-31, 2014, Kubacki allegedly had sexual conduct with two females who were under the age of 10, after purposely compelling each to submit by force or threat of force.

Both charges are first-degree felonies with a possibility of three-11 years in prison and registration as a Tier III sex offender, which will require lifetime registration.

Defense attorney Peter Halleck entered pleas of not guilty on behalf of his client.

A plea hearing was scheduled for July 31.

A no-contact order remains in place with the alleged victims.
