The Bowling Green Memorial Day Observance Committee is seeking community units to march in the Memorial Day Parade to be held at 10 a.m. on May 29.
Veteran groups,scouting groups, and other groups offering patriot tribute to veterans may participate. The committee is also looking for convertibles to transport veterans needing assistance.
The parade forms up at the post office at 9:30 a.m., steps off at 10 a.m. and concludes with a ceremony at Oak GroveCemetery.
The committee is seekingvolunteers to decorate veterans’ graves in Memory Gardens Cemetery andOak Grove Cemetery on May 20. Flags will be placed on veterans’ graves starting with Memory Gardens at 10 a.m. and concluding with Oak Grove Cemetery at 1 p.m.
