Bowling Green senior tennis player Mathias Drumm is first team All-Northern Lakes League, joining Sylvania Southview sophomore Isaac Vens, who is the NLL Player of the Year.
Other first team selections are Anthony Wayne senior Paul Borgess, AW junior Logan Sutto, Sylvania Northview junior Max Forquer, Southview senior Hritik Dhar and Springfield junior Max Kufner.
The Bobcats finished third in the NLL standings, scoring 22 points to place behind champion AW (38) and second place Southview (33).
Northview (26) was fourth, followed by Perrysburg (21), Springfield (13), Napoleon (6) and Maumee (5).
In league play, AW was 7-0, followed by Southview (6-1), BG (5-2), Northview (4-3), Perrysburg (3-4), Springfield (2-5), Maumee (1-7) and Napoleon (0-8).
In the NLL tournament at Perrysburg Tennis Center, AW won with 24 points, followed by Southview (21), Northview (18), Perrysburg (15), BG (12), Springfield (9), Napoleon (6) and Maumee (3).
At the NLL tournament, Drumm was runner-up in first doubles along with teammate Theodore Bock Perrysburg moved up in the tournament standings based on three winners in consolation matches.
Bock and Perrysburg senior Niranjan Bhagwat are second team All-NLL. Also second team are AW seniors Dom Bailey and Henry Deittrich, AW freshman Brody Sutto, Northview sophomore Shane Kagy, and Springfield freshman Zach White.
BG junior Aaron Hershberger, the team’s first singles player, and Perrysburg junior Solomon Lambdin are third team All-NLL.
Also third team are AW junior Ian Briars, AW senior Ben Talbert, Northview senior Alex Kasee, and three Southview seniors, Kayshov Agnihotri, Pranav Dixit, and Ben Perry.
