A Bowling Green man has been cited for fighting and drug possession.
On Wednesday at 2:20 a.m., Bowling Green police responded to the area of City Lot 2 on a report of a fight.
While en route, the officer was told one of the men involved was heading toward City Lot 1 in a gray sweatshirt with the hood up. The officer observed a man matching that description and stopped him, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
The male, later identified as Zachary Wagner, 21, told the officer that he was in a fight with another man.
Wagner told the officer he initiated the fight. Officers were unable to locate the other man. Wagner told officers the two men had had issues in the past.
While searching Wagner, police reportedly found a cannabis pen sticking out of his right pant pocket and a cartridge containing 0.5 grams of hashish oil.
Wagner was cited for disorderly conduct/fighting and possession of hashish.
