The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for City Egg restaurant opening on April 18 at 2 p.m.

The event will be held at their new downtown location at 121 S. Main St. and will open with congratulatory words from Chamber Director Mary Hinkelman and Mayor Mike Aspacher as they welcome owner Shain P. Buerk and the City Egg staff to the business community.

City Egg is a sister concept to the full-service Scramblers restaurants with almost 30 locations located throughout Ohio and Michigan.

City Egg operates as the fast-casual alternative for guests who want fresh breakfast more conveniently.

This is the third City Egg restaurant, with the other two operating in Columbus and downtown Toledo.

Scramblers is a locally owned and operated family restaurant business that has been in Northwest Ohio for more than 30 years.

Exclusive City Egg features include a handcrafted fresh-squeezed juice bar complete with a City Egg barista, community tables, Scramblers Private Label gourmet coffee and an emphasis on fresh food. Ordering will be available online, by mobile, and through tech-savvy kiosks.

The chamber asks that guests RSVP by going to https://www.bgchamber.net/rsvp/.
