Phyllis S. Wohler

Phyllis S. Wohler, 81, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
She was born October 18, 1937 in Bowling Green to the late Franklin M. and Louise A. (Curry) Knauss, Sr.
Phyllis married her high school sweetheart, the late Don W. Wohler on December 9, 1955 and he preceded
her in death on May 24, 2002.
Phyllis was born and raised in Bowling Green and grew up on the family farm. She enjoyed camping and
spending time at the family cottage in Bright Lake, Ontario, Canada. She enjoyed traveling, especially
to Florida with her family and close friends, the late Pat & Ken Wires. Her hobbies included
swimming, playing Bunco, cooking and baking. Phyllis was a bus driver for Wood Lane Residential Services
for many years. She was a member of the Weston Church of Christ.
Phyllis will be dearly missed by her daughter: Pam (Randy) Allen, of Bowling Green; her sons: Don Wohler,
Jr. of Bowling Green and Wendell (Stephanee) of Weston; her sister Linda (Jerry) Crawford of Ohio; her
granddaughters: Brittany (Cody) Panning of Bowling Green and Courtney Allen of Bowling Green; her
grandson Dawson Wohler of Weston; her great-grandson Dale Oliver Panning of Bowling Green and her
sisters-in-law Connie Knauss and Pat Knauss; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
She will be reunited in heaven with her parents, her husband, her son and daughter-in-law: Robert and
Karen Wohler; brothers: Frank M. Knauss, Jr. and John Knauss.
Visitation will be on held Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home
& Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio. Funeral Services for Phyllis will be held
on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Remembrance Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in
Portage Cemetery.
