Marcella J. Meiring, age 76, of Walbridge, OH passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Regency Hospital,
Sylvania, OH.
She was born on May 10, 1943 in Toledo, OH to Floyd and Blanch (Heebsh) Hartman. On July 17, 1963 she
married Jack Meiring in Toledo.
Marcella and Jack raised two children and celebrated over 53 years of marriage before his passing in
March of 2016.
Marcella was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stony Ridge. She enjoyed fishing,
feeding the birds, collecting turtles and going to the cottage in Pelee Island, Canada. However, it was
her family especially her grandchildren that gave her the most happiness.
Marcella is survived by her son, Shane (April) Meiring, and daughter, Jacklyn (Kevin) Stock, both of
Wayne, OH; and grandchildren, Zachary and Shelby Stock; sisters, Margaret Ohms of Bellevue and Cindy St.
Peter of Gibsonburg.
In addition to her husband Jack she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Marvin.
Family and friends will be received 1-5 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Marsh & Marsteller
Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH with a memorial service conducted at 5 p.m. Rev.
James Budke will be officiating.
The family requests that all guests come in casual dress.
