Harold E. Cupp, 86, of Cygnet, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the Wood County
Hospital, Bowling Green.
He was born on March 27, 1933, in Cygnet to the late George E. and Mildred L. (Franklin) Cupp. He married
Catherine Ann Mathias on September 30, 1950 and she preceded him in death on April 22, 2018.
Harold is survived by his sons, Gary (Judy) Cupp of Perrysburg and David Cupp of Toledo; his daughter,
Kathy Lang of North Baltimore; his daughter-in-law, Lillian Cupp of Cygnet; his sisters, Beverly (Norm)
Murphy of Bowling Green and Barbara (Herman) Kiel of Cygnet; his grandchildren, Laura (Scott) Abke of
Perrysburg, Tom (Josie) Cotterman of Gilbert, AZ, Dana Hainzer of Pemberville, Aaron Cupp of Athens,
Wendy (Tim) Seedorf of Cygnet, Michael (Andy) Czyzewski of Powell, Kelly Cupp Borders of Bloomdale, Ryan
(Abby) Lang of Cygnet and Cory (Brittany) Lang of Cygnet; 19 great grandchildren and 2
great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Cupp and a great-grandson, Jeryd Cotterman.
Harold had worked for Daybrook Hydraulic in Bowling Green. He and Catherine enjoyed camping and fishing.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2019, at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North
Baltimore, Pastor Bill Cook officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview-West Milgrove Cemetery, Perry Township.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at Smith-Crates Funeral Home.
