Hal R. Warren

Hal R. Warren, 71, of Weston, Ohio died Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at Regency Hospital, Sylvania,
Ohio.
He was born February 8, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Harold and Lucille Warren. On September 21, 1984
he married Donna (Mahlman) Warren at Hope Lutheran Church and she survives.
Hal loved electronics and worked as an electrician for most of his life. He was known as “N8HML” in the
world of amateur radio and spent many hours communicating in Morse code to other Ham Radio enthusiasts
all over the world. He surrounded himself with family and especially enjoyed spending time with his
grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he adored and loved.
He is also survived by his children, Cindy (Kevin) Johnson of McClure, Ohio, Jeff R. (Krista) Warren of
Whitehouse, Ohio, and Elizabeth Warren of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Isaac Johnson, Rachel Johnson,
Corey (Tina) Warren, Cara Warren, Caylee Warren, Richard Daubert, Timothy Warren, and Christina Howell;
great-grandchildren, Harper Daubert, Easton Daubert, Asher Daubert, and Alec Howell; and a sister, Midge
Weatherwax.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, William F. Daubert Jr. and brothers, James Warren, Sr. and Jay
Warren, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral
Home, Napoleon, Ohio, where friends may call from 4-7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Hal Warren, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity
of the donor’s choice.
