Enriquez exhibits portraits & photos in Wesley Gallery

FOSTORIA — The portraits and photos of Emanuel Enriquez, of Bowling Green, are now on exhibit at the
Wesley Memorial Gallery.
The show, which remains on view through March 31, features 26 works by Enriquez, who is known for his
monumental sculptures and large scale paintings documenting the Mexican-American experience.
His sculpture is on permanent display at Fifth Third Field in Toledo, the Bowling Green State University
campus and Schedel Gardens.
Enriquez graduated from BGSU in painting. He returned to BGSU to earn another degree with a focus on
sculpture.
He is one of three finalists to give presentations to the Ohio Arts Commission for creating a bronze
statue of Thomas Edison for permanent exhibit at the National Statuary Hall in Washington D.C.
The Wesley Gallery is located in the narthex of the Wesley United Methodist Church, 1200 Van Buren St.
