Boil advisory issued in downtown BG

A boil advisory was issued to properties along South Main Street Tuesday, due to water service lines
being connected as part of the ongoing utility project within the downtown.
Several businesses in the 200 block of South Main Street have since had the advisories lifted.
Those that were still under the advisory as of late Wednesday afternoon included Edward Jones at 170 S.
Main St., Grounds for Thought at 174 S. Main St., Changes on Mane at 181 S. Main St., Lola’s at 183 S.
Main St., the Stacked Deck at 188 S. Main St., Naslada Bistro at 182 S. Main St. and Huntington Bank at
222 S. Main St.
Boil advisories should be expected for properties within the project boundary as the crew moves north,
according to Joe Fawcett, assistant municipal administrator.
Some of the locations had service connections made Tuesday and some on Wednesday, he said.
The City of Bowling Green Water Distribution Division will issue a water boil advisory if there is a
possibility that contaminants may be introduced into the water system.
