TODAY
Vocal students will perform Opera Scenes at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts
Center.
THURSDAY
The Wind Symphony, directed by Carol Hayward, will perform at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall of the Moore
Musical Arts Center.
The Graduate String Quartet performs in Bryan Recital Hall at 8 p.m.
FRIDAY
Horn players Karl Pituch, of the Detroit Symphony, and Denise Tryon, of the Philadelphia Symphony, will
perform in Bryan Recital Hall at 8 p.m.
SUNDAY
The Sunday Matinee will screen the 15-minute short "Popeye the Sailor Meets Sinbad the Sailor"
from 1936 and the 1942 "Jungle Book" at 3 p.m. the Gish Film Theater of Hanna Hall
APRIL 21
Pianist Tianshu Wang, who has appeared with major orchestras in China and the United States, will perform
at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall

APRIL 22
Conor Nelson’s flute students will perform at Toledo’s Manor House of Wildwood Metropark at 7:30 p.m.
The Percussion Ensemble will perform at 8 p.m. concert in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center.
The group is made up of both graduate and undergraduate percussion majors.
APRIL 23
The Steel Drum Ensemble will perform traditional Caribbean tunes and modern jazz songs at 8 p.m. in Bryan
Recital Hall.
APRIL 24
BFA in Writing students Nicholas Horn, Kyle Nutter and Christine Zapiecki will read from their work at
7:30 p.m. in Prout Chapel.
World Percussion Night will feature the Taiko, Afro-Caribbean and Gamelan ensembles at 8 p.m. in Kobacker
Hall.
The musical "Legally Blonde" opens its weekend run at 8 p.m. in the Donnell Theatre of the

AT THE GALLERIES
The Master of Fine Arts Senior Thesis Exhibition I continues in the Dorothy Uber Bryan and Willard
Wankelman galleries at the Fine Arts Center through April 19. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday through Saturday, 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
