Waterville Playshop directors call
church recital
Soprano Stephanie Tokarz-Conklin and tenor Patrick Conklin with pianist Peng Zang will perform Saturday
at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, 126 Church St.
The recital is part of the free Saturdays at the Church on Church concert series that performers from the
Bowling Green State University College of Musical Arts. Programs last about 45 minutes and refreshments
are served afterward.
Rep casting ‘Moonglow’
TOLEDO – The Toledo Repertoire Theatre will hold auditions for "Moonglow" at the Saturday at 1
p.m. at 16 10th St.
The comic-drama, written Kim Carney and directed by Paul Causman, will feature Madge Levinson as Maxine,
a woman at the onset of Alzheimer’s disease who meets Joe, who had also danced at a popular Detroit
ballroom in the 1940s.
The cast includes three women age ranges 20s, 30s and 50s-60s; three men age ranges 20s, 40s-50s, and
70s-80s.
"Moonglow" will be presented Mother’s Day weekend, May 8-11, in partnership with the
Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter. For information, contact the Toledo Rep at 419-243-9277

Displaced artists exhibit
TOLEDO – The final Collingwood Arts Center residents show will be held Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the
center at 2413 Collingwood Ave.
The show will feature visual artists, live musical performances and spoken word performances. The center
has discontinued its residency program displacing the 28 resident artists.
