Toledo Symphony performs holiday show at All Saints
ROSSFORD – The Toledo Symphony Orchestra will perform a holiday concert Sunday at 4 p.m. in All Saints
Church, 628 Lime City Road.
On the program will be Leroy Anderson’s "Christmas Festival," J.S. Bach’s "Jesu, Joy of
Man’s Desiring," Samuel Barber’s "Die Natali," Robert Russell Bennett’s arrangement of
"White Christmas," Philip Lane’s "Overture on French Carols," James Stephenson’s
"A Charleston Christmas," Mykola Dmytrovich Leontovich’s "Carol of the Bells," Vince
Guaraldi’s "Charlie Brown Christmas," Robert Wendel’s "Christmas a la Valse" and a
pops Christmas sing-along.
Voices of Harmony feature students at seasonal concert
The Voices of Harmony Chorus will be joined by students from Lakota  and Sylvania Northview high schools
for "Sounds of the Season" at the BG Alliance Church Saturday at 7 p.m.
The show will feature barbershop versions of classic holiday songs.
BG Arts Council seeking artists for 50+ exhibit
The Bowling Green Arts Council will host an art show "50+ Shades of Grey" in Jan. 9 through
28,.
The showcase of work of artists age 50 and over will be on display at the Myles Baker Street Gallery on
East Wooster Street in Bowling Green.  
Artist 50 and over who live within 100 miles of Bowling Green can apply through www.bgartscouncil.com.
The cost to participate is $25. Deadline is Monday.
An opening reception will be held on  Jan. 9 from 5-7 p.m.
