Singers to entertain at library
The newly formed Touelles Opera Company will present a Hump Day Recital in the atrium of the Wood County
Public Library Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The 40-minute program will feature Bowling Green State University vocal students Désirée Johnson, Megan
Davis, and Rebekah Wehrly performing arias by Puccini, Offenbach, Handel, and Dvorak. The soloists will
perform with fellow student Peng Zhang on piano.
Horvath photos on exhibit
PERRYSBURG – "Cold Weather Colors," an exhibit of digital photography by William Horvath, is
now on view at Starbucks at Levis Commons, 3145 Levis Commons Blvd. The exhibit, which continues through
Jan. 31, is sponsored by PRIZM Creative Community.
The show includes digitally manipulated images of landscapes, sculpture, architecture and other subjects
from the past 50 years. Horvath has been using a computer to manipulate his images for 10 years.
Way screens 1949 comedy
PERRYSBURG – Way Library will screen the 1949 comedy "Champagne for Caesar" as part of its
classic film series Reel Talk Thursday at 10 a.m.
Ronald Colman plays an unemployed physicist genius who becomes a weekly contestant on television’s
biggest quiz show.  The film co-stars Celeste Holm, Vincent Price, and a young Art Linkletter.
