PRIZM hosts open house for Art-A-Fair show
TOLEDO — PRIZM Creative Community will host an open house for its Art-A-Fair Exhibition Thursday from 
5:30- 9 p.m. in the 5/3 Bank Lobby at One Seagate, 550 N. Summit St.   
Guests will be able to make their own chocolate dipped strawberries and enjoy other appetizers. 
Entertainment will be provided by singer-songwriter Bruce Lillie.
The event is in conjunction with The Arts Commission of Toledo’s Third Thursday Loop  which features 
stops at more than 30 galleries and business venues featuring  work by other local artists.
Actors Collaborative staging ‘Thom Pain’
TOLEDO — Actors Collaborative Toledo will stage Will Eno’s “Thom Pain (based on nothing)” Saturday at 8
p.m. at The Moxie, 1205 Adams St. as part of its The Moxie Live series.
The play is directed by Paul Causman and features Jeffrey Albright in the title role.

Fused glass workshop opens Staycation series
PRIZM Creative Community offers its first Summer Staycation Workshop.   
“Depth of Field” will enable participants to create a three-dimensional effect fused glass project.    
The class taught by Ellen Rubin will be held May 28 from 6-10 p.m. at the Glass Act Studio, 8751 Big
Cypress Circle, Sylvania.

The class fee will be $40 or $30 for PRIZM members.  
Rubin has 25 years experience as an art teacher and has degrees from Ohio State as well as a master’s
degree from the University in Toledo with an emphasis in Slumping and Fusing of Glass.
