Pet art at Toledo Museum

TOLEDO – "Best in Show: Animal Illustrations from the Mazza Collection" opens Friday in  the
Toledo Museum of Art’s Gallery 18.
The show, which continues through July 5, features 54 works of art on loan from the University of
Findlay’s Mazza Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of original artwork by children’s book
illustrators. The works depict 22 dogs, 14 cats and assorted other animals that have populated
children’s books from the 1930s until the present.
