Masaki Kobayashi film that follows an unemployed samurai, at 7:30 p.m. in Gish Film Theater of Hanna Hall.
The samurai visits the house of Lord Iyi and wants to be allowed to commit ritual suicide on his property.

Theatre and Film presents "Clybourne Park," a Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony Award-winning play
inspired by "A Raisin in the Sun" will be on stage in the Donnell Theatre of the Wolfe Center for
the Arts with 8 p.m. shows, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday. The
satiric comedy uses real estate to exemplify the rifts created by white flight and gentrification. Tickets

28The College of Musical Arts welcomes Bob Bernhardt as guest artist in residence for the 2013 Dorothy E.
and Duwayne H. Hansen Series. Bernhardt’s experience includes 31 years as a music director, 34 years as a
conductor and 33 years in the opera pit. He is currently the Principal Pops Conductor with the Chattanooga
Symphony and Opera. This year also marked his 20th year with the Boston Pops. He will be on the BGSU campus
through Nov. 1.ARTalks present Vivian Ladd’s "Learning to Look" at 5 p.m. in 204 Fine Arts Center.

Confidential" will be shown as part of Tuesdays at the Gish. This landmark crime movie untangles a web
of corruption that ensues after armored truck driver Joe Rolfe is wrongfully accused of collaborating with
the robbers, and was the inspiration for such modern classics as "Reservoir Dogs" and "L.A.
Confidential." The film starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Gish Film Theater of Hanna Hall.The Clarinet
