MAUMEE – Grammy-winning blues and country guitarist Pete Anderson will perform Monday at the
Village Idiot, 309 Conant St.The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a set by Ken Haas and Kevin Murnen
from The Zimmerman Twins will open the show.Anderson is touring in support of his latest album,
"Birds Above Guitarland."A Detroit native, Pete Anderson is best known for his musical
partnership with Dwight Yoakam.An early pioneer of the Americana movement as both a guitarist and
producer, Anderson has worked with Lucinda Williams, Rosie Flores, Flaco Jimenez, and many others.
