FREMONT – The North Coast Big Band perform a 90-minute outdoor concert of music from the big band
era Wednesday at 7 p.m. as the finale to the 2013 Verandah Concert season at the Hayes Presidential
Center.The concert is preceded by an old-fashioned ice cream social at 6:45 p.m.Since 1988 the North Coast
Big Band, directed by Gary Keller, the musicians are residents of the North Coast area, including Toledo,
Bowling Green, Fremont, Tiffin, and Sandusky.Listeners should bring their own blankets and chairs. Concert
canceled in the event of thunderstorms.
