Pemberville kids give myth a comical twist

PEMBERVILLE – The Pemberville Children’s Theatre will stage "The Adventures of Jason and
the Argonauts" in the Pemberville Opera House, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.The
play is a comic look at the Greek myth of Jason who with a crew of heroes goes off to seek the Golden
Fleece. The crew and the hero in this version prove to be a bumbling lot.The castle wall used in the
production is a historic artifact, created about 1895 that was discovered in the opera house, and
refurbished to be used in the production.Tickets are $8 and $5 for youth 15 and younger. Tickets available
at Beeker’s General Store.The Pemberville Children’s Workshop is made possible through The Gale and Marlyn
Williamson Performing Arts Fund which provides us with funding for children’s programming here at the
Pemberville Opera House.
