Randolph Linn pleads guilty to Islamic Center of Greater Toledo arson

TOLEDO — Accused Islamic Center arsonist Randolph Linn, 52, of St. Joseph, Ind.,
today pleaded guilty to all charges in U.S. District Court, Toledo.
Under a plea agreement Linn is to spend 20 years in prison. Sentencing has been set
for April 16, 2013.
In court today Linn said he chose the mosque because he had been by it several times
in his job as a truck driver.
Linn said on Sept. 30 he had been watching Fox News and had gotten "riled
up." Linn said he drank 45 beers in seven hours before going to the mosque.

Linn was accused of entering the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo in Perrysburg
Township and setting a fire in a prayer room of the. He was reportedly armed
with a revolver at the time.
Linn was apprehended in early October and arraigned on federal hate crimes charges
later that month.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges in U.S. District court on Oct. 18.
