Owens band holiday show to honor Tuskegee AirmenThe Owens College Community Band
will present a tribute for the Tuskegee Airmen as part of its holiday show Sunday at
2:30 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, off Oregon Road, Perrysburg
Township.Col. Harold Brown, a 23-year Air Force veteran will be special guest. The
Tuskegee Airmen were African-American who served in the Army Air Force during World War
II.The program will feature patriotic musical tribute in their honor.Christmas and
Hanukkah tune and well as Broadway music will be on the program.Featured soloist will
be saxophonist Gary Herren.Refreshments will be served following the free
concert.Perrysburg singers promise concert of holiday cheerPERRYSBURG – The Holiday
Cheer Concert featuring the Perrysburg Symphony Chorale and Perrysburg High School Jazz
Singers will be presented Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 214 E.
Front St.The concert features more than 40 area singers, performing great holiday
favorites, including "’Twas the Night before Christmas," "Sleigh
Ride," "White Christmas," "Santa Claus is Coming’ to Town" and
"Do You Hear What I Hear." There will also be an opportunity for everyone to
sing those old, familiar carols. This is a concert for the whole family, young and old,
to hear heart warming songs that make the season bright! It’s a great way to get in the
mood for a joyous, white Christmas! By the way, we are eagerly anticipating that Santa

Egypt" will be the featured film in the "Other Musics" series Tuesday at
7 p.m. at Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main St., Bowling Green.The 1996 documentary was
directed by Michal Goldman. The series is curated by Phil Dickinson and Rob Wallace, of
the BGSU faculty.BGSU designers wrap TARTA vehicle with artTOLEDO – Six new bus wraps
created by Bowling Green State University graphic design students will be unveiled
during the Art in TARTA gallery event on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Parkwood
Gallery, 1838 Parkwood Ave. The buses are newly wrapped with original and locally
created graphic designs and poetry inspired by the theme of "Restore Planet Earth:
Innovation," the fifth year of the "Restore Planet Earth" initiative.The
designers worked under the creative direction of Mary Dawson of Dawson Design with BGSU
graphic design instructor Lori Young, of Off Contact Productions.
