Luke James unveils debut CDLuke James will mark the release of his debut CD
"Brooklyn Love" with a show Saturday at Howard’s Club H, 210 N. Main St.,
Bowling GreenSteve Mullan, a performer from Ann Arbor, Mich., will open the show. Music

EastAriel Kasler, a professional guitarist and composer currently in his master’s
studies at Bowing Green State University, will be perform original compositions and jazz
arrangements of Israeli and Middle Eastern music Saturday at 1 p.m. in the library
atrium of the Wood County District Pubic Library.Kasler is an active artist who has
performed professionally for over a decade before moving to Bowling Green to complete
his Master’s degree in Jazz Performance.Joining Kasler will be A.J. Shank, tenor
saxophone, Josh Silver, piano, Nick Cole-Klaes, bass, and Dave Nelson, drums.Concert
features flutes, poetryA concert of music for flute and poetry will be presented Friday
from 7 to 8 p.m. at Happy Badger, 331 N. Main St., Bowling Green.Flutists Laura Pillman
and Gabriella Roderer will perform music by J.S. Bach and Marin Marais. Poetry will be
presented by Gabriella Rodere.Lionface stages original play ‘HIV Speaks’ as AIDS
benefitTOLEDO – Lionface Productions, of Bowling Green, will stage its original
production "HIV Speaks" as part of the commemoration of World AIDS Day Friday
from 7 to 10 p.m. at 1717 Adams St. in downtown Toledo.Tickets are $5 and there will be
a cash bar. All proceeds will benefit the AIDS Resource Center Ohio’s Toledo
office.Carruth to sign workWATERVILLE – George Carruth will be signing his original

concertTOLEDO – Vocalist Atla DeChamplain and pianist Matt DeChamplain will perform at
Jazz on the Maumee Dec. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Grand Plaza Hotel’s Aqua Lounge, 444 N
Summit St.They will be joined by bassist Clifford Murphy.The duo will also perform
Dec. 12 and 19.The DeChamplains study at the University of Toledo with jazz legend
vocalist Jon Hendricks and pianist Claude Black.They are completing their studies and
will be leaving Toledo.Cover $15, $5 for students and $10 for members of the Art Tatum
Jazz Society.
