WBGU-FM will present the indie pop band Goodnight Argent for two free shows on
Monday.At 1 p.m. the band will play a set in the Bowen Thompson Student Union
multipurpose room. This show will be taped as a special episode for the
station’s Live Wire season 2. T-shirts, stickers and giveaways will be available
throughout the show.At 8 p.m., the band will perform at Grounds for Thought, 174
S. Main St., Bowling Green.The band’s song "Battlegrounds" won the
Grand Prize in Pop in the John Lennon Songwriting.Members of Goodnight Argent
are: Chase Manhattan, vocals,arranging and programming; Shane Santanna, piano
and other keybiards; Jeff Stachofsky, guita; Evan Taylor, bass; and Zac Burrell,
drums.
