TODAY
Internationally known pianist and teacher Nelita True will present a master class at 2:30 p.m. in the
Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center.
Violist Matthew Daline will perform a Faculty Artist recital at 8 p.m. in the Bryan Recital Hall.
THURSDAY-SUNDAY
The University Department of Theatre and Film presents Anton Chekhov’s "The Seagull." The
performances in the Eva Marie Saint Theatre of the Wolfe Center for the Arts are Thursday, Friday and
Saturday at 8 p.m. with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.. Tickets purchased online are $10, $7 for
students and seniors and $1.75 for BGSU students. Tickets purchased in person or by telephoning (419)
372-8171 are $12 and $9 for students and seniors.
FRIDAY-SATURDAY
New vocal students at the university showcase their emerging talents Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 2
and 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall.
AT THE GALLERIES
"Curiosities: Rick Valicenti and the 21st Century Thirst" opens Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. in the
Willard Wankelman Gallery at the Fine Arts Center. Valicenti’s work represents art, function and real
human presence, which is the focus of his communication design firm Thirst/Chicago. The exhibit will
continue through Nov. 11. Fine Art Center gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday,
6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
The "SAFA Glass Exhibit SAGA" exhibition continues through Nov. 7 in the Bowen-Thompson Student
Union at BGSU. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekends.
