Larry L. Mills

Larry Leroy Mills, age 71, of Findlay, Ohio died at 6:40am on Friday, October 19, 2012, at Bridge Hospice
in Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born on May 31, 1941 in North Baltimore, Ohio to the late Chester Paul and Chelcie Maxine (Max)
Church Mills.
On October 28, 1989, he married Marcia J. VanDenEynde and she survives.
Larry is survived by two sons:
Bret Mills and Greg (Stephanie) Mills and one daughter:
Crystal (Michael) Huff all of North Baltimore.
He has a stepson: Danny L. Thomas and a stepdaughter: Kathy (Steve) Mitchell both of Findlay.
Larry has two brothers:
Chester (Bud) Mills of Massachusetts and Sean (Sue) Mills of North Baltimore and three sisters:
Dixie (Bunny) Parsons, Sheila (Don) Stemen and Rosemary Daniels all of North Baltimore. There are seven
grandchildren:
Brandon Mills, Madison Mills, Zach Mitchell, Nick Mitchell, Colton Thomas, Lacey Thomas and Leah Thomas.

He was preceded in death by a son: Cory Leroy Mills; four brothers: Paul, Dale, Danny and Robert Mills;
and a sister Betty (Sis) Carles.
Larry was a US Navy Veteran, a life member of the Findlay D.A.V, V.F.W., the American Legion and a
captain of the wheel chair color guard.
He was a life member and very involved in the Findlay Moose Lodge having been the past governor.
He retired from the Cooper Tire and Rubber Company and also retired as a volunteer member of the North
Baltimore Fire Dept.
He loved to boat, especially canoeing, as well as fishing and was an avid Cleveland Brown and Ohio State
Fan.
He most loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at SMITH CRATES FUNERAL HOME in
North Baltimore, where funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday.
Pastor Mike VanDenEynde Jr. will officiate and interment will follow at New Maplewood Cemetery in North
Baltimore.
The Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will conduct full military honors at the cemetery.
Memorials may be given in his memory to either the North Baltimore Fire Dept, Findlay Moose Lodge #698 in
Findlay or to
Bridge Hospice.
