Blues are brewin’

Dallas bluesman Andrew “Jr. Boy” Jones will perform a free
concert Friday at 8 p.m. at Grounds for Thought. Jones, who performed
at the 2011 Black Swamp Arts Festival, will record the third live LP for
the Grounds for Thought label. A veteran bluesman, Jones got early
tutelage from his uncle Adolphus Sneed before going on to work with
Freddie King and Charlie Musselwhite. His live shows features his own
blues originals and jazz-influenced instrumental covers of soul tunes.
