Dark Side at Cla-Zel tonight
Dark Side of the Moon pays tribute to the music of Pink Floyd tonight at 8 at the
Cla-Zel in downtown Bowling Green.
Tickets are $10 and $5 with college identification. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Playshop hosts workshops
WATERVILLE – Waterville Playshop will host "A Day of Theatre Workshops"
April 14 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 22 N. Second St.,
Waterville.
Workshop Topics include:
• Acting and Auditions instructed by Stephanie Stephan Dennehy.
• Basics of Musical Theatre Dance instructed by Bob Marzola.
• Basics of Musical Theatre Voice instructed by John Carmack.
• Basics of Technical Theatre instructed by Jason and Courtney Rahe.
All four sessions are $30 including lunch. Registration is available online at

Owens students show art
The Juried Student Art Exhibition opened this week in Owens Community College’s
Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery.
An opening reception and award ceremony for the exhibit will be held April 14 from
4-6 p.m. in the gallery located in the Owens Center for the Fine and Performing
Arts, Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township.
The show features more than 80 works by 55 art students. Owens students displaying
artwork include: Tabitha Adams, Katy Reichert and Kathie Vanness, all of Bowling
Green; Andrea Baker and Mihee Kim, both of Rossford; Mark Boggs, Portage; Mike
Budyka, Thomas Sumwalt and Paul Verdell, all of Perrysburg; Averia Hollanshed,
Northwood; Maureen Cook, Andrew Smith and Cherie Guthrie, all of Waterville,;
and Andrew Pinciotti, Millbury.

The community art show is sponsored by PRIZM.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Culp is a Toledo-based designer who
specializes in digital art and graphic design. She owns UrbanDigitz Arts Studio.

Spelling bee musical at Owens
The Owens Community College student production of the musical "The 25th Annual
Putnam County Spelling Bee," opens April 13 in the Center for Fine and
Performing Arts’ Mainstage Theatre, Oregon Road, Perrysburg Township.
The show will be staged April 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 7:30 and April 15 and 22 at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for the general public and $8 for Owens students and employees.

TOLEDO – Toledo School for the Arts will host GuitarFest, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 3
p.m. featuring guest artists, performances, workshops, clinics, equipment
vendors, competitions, giveaways, a music gear swap meet, and prizes April 14.

Reeves Gabrels, a Grammy-nominated guitarist/songwriter/producer best known for both
his work with David Bowie is the featured guest artist. Workshops and clinics
are offered by a variety of local talent.
