PERRYSBURG – The Perrysburg Musical Theatre continues its preparations for its June production of
"The Sound of Music."
Scheduled events include:
• A "Sound of Music" sing-along will be held Friday at 5 p.m. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 East
Indiana Ave.
The classic film will be shown at 6 p.m. and audience members will be encouraged to join the action on
the stage. Interactive packs will be distributed and those atending are encouraged to dress as their
favorte characters.
Tickets are $5. There will be raffles, silent auctions, food and drinks.
• Auditions for adult roles in the musical will be held Sunday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Next Stage
Studios, 25581 Fort Meigs Road, Suite G. An audition packet is available for download at:
www.perrysburgmusicaltheatre.org.
• A "Sound of Music" workshop for young actors age 5 through 18 will be held March 17 at St.
Timothy’s Church, 871 East Boundary. Two sessions – from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 5:30p.m. – will

Youth auditions for the show are April 28.
The troupe was founded two years ago. It has staged several fundraising shows. Last year it staged its
first musical, "Annie."
