FREMONT – Michael Shirtz Quartet will perform the music of Cole Porter and others
Friday Terra State Community College’s Recital Hall in the Arts and Health Technologies
Center (Building D).The Michael Shirtz Quartet is a jazz ensemble that plays
traditional jazz with a blend of contemporary, folk and gospel-like textures. Shirtz
takes a nontraditional and percussive approach to the keyboard mixed with his vocals and
interests in polytonality and improvisation.Proceeds from this event will go to the
Terra Choral Society to support their trip and performance in Washington, D.C.Admission
