PERRYSBURG – The Way Public Library will celebrate the film work of Sidney Portier
during Black History Month with films each Sunday in February at 2 p.m.
The festival of free films opens Sunday with Portier playing a student in Glenn
Ford’s inner city high school class in the 1955 film "Black Board
Jungle."
Other films scheduled are "Edge of the City," "Lillies of the
Field" and "A Patch of Blue."
