All events free unless noted.THURSDAYAs part of the Festival Series, the Toledo
Symphony Orchestra will perform with the BGSU Wind Symphony in concert at 8 p.m.
in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. Dr. Bruce Moss, a professor
of music education and director of band activities, leads the Toledo Symphony
and the BGSU Wind Symphony in John Corigliano’s wild "Circus Maximus."
Jeffrey Pollock of the Toledo Symphony conducts Respighi’s "Pines of
Rome," Khachaturian’s Spartacus Ballet Suite and Berlioz’s "Roman
Carnival Overture." Tickets are $12 to 30; group tickets are available.

Chapel. A faculty member at Miami University in Ohio, she has had work published
in many literary journals and is the author of "Macular Hole,"
"Miss America" and "My New Job," among other books.FRIDAYThe
Wind Symphony and Concert Band will perform at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall. Dr.
Carol Hayward will conduct the Concert Band, and Dr. Bruce Moss will conduct the
Wind Symphony. The performance is part of the 54th Annual Band Music Reading and
Directors Clinic.SATURDAYHigh school and middle school honor bands will perform
in Kobacker Hall as part of the 54th annual Band Music Reading and Directors
Clinic. Don Wilcox, professor emeritus at West Virginia University, and John
Locke, director of bands at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, are
guest conductors. The middle school honor band plays at 2:30 p.m., and the high
school honor band performs at 3:30 p.m.SUNDAYOboist Jacqueline Leclair will
perform as part of the Faculty Artist Series at 3 p.m. in the Great Gallery of
the Toledo Museum of Art.JAN. 25Pianist Robert Shannon will present a faculty
recital at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall at the Moore Musical Arts Center.
