Silver screen sirens featured at library series

PERRYSBURG – "Golden Girls of the Silver Screen," a film series at Way Public Library, will
begin Sunday at 2 p.m. with the screening of "Poor Little Rich Girl."
The 1936 musical stars a very young Shirley Temple with Alice Faye, Gloria Stuart and Jack Haley. The
movie tells of a down-and-out duo of entertainers who add a little girl they think is an orphan to their
act.
Other films in the series are:
"The Strawberry Blond" with Rita Hayworth and Olivia de Havilland, Nov. 13.
"Mother Wore Tights" with Betty Grable, Nov. 20.
"Mogambo" with Ava Gardner and Grace Kelly, Nov. 27.
All showings are free and start at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
