TOLEDO – Trombone Shorty And Orleans Avenue will perform Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Toledo Museum Of Art
Peristyle.
Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews got his start as a youngster on the streets of New Orleans.
Andrews has developed his own musical gumbo of traditional New Orleans jazz, contemporary jazz, funk,
soul and rock. He told the Sentinel-Tribune in 2010 that his band reflects "everything I learned in
the city …. everything I grew up listening to."
The band is performing in support of his new album "For True."
Pre-concert music by the Jason Quick Trio and Jon Barile and Friends will start at 6:30 p.m. Beverages
