Development Center on Friday. Penta Career Center students Nate Ottensman, who is a member of the
Rossford Explorer/EMT group and lives in Maumee, and Kelsey Reno of Rossford talked with the children
about fire safety. Darnell is enrolled in the home-based portion of the WSOS program which means that
once per week for 90 minutes, a teacher visits him in his home with a parent and together they learn the
lesson of the week. The Early Childhood Programs at WSOS provide an early childhood and family program
for income-eligible families. The program consists of early childhood education complemented by
nutrition/health services for the child, and social services for the entire family.
