The October meeting of the Bowling Green Women’s Club will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse,
134 N. Prospect St.
Melanie Stretchbery, superintendent of the Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities, will speak
about the People of Wood Lane.
Deb Shaffer, one of the featured performers at the upcoming benefit for The Daughter Project, will
provide jazz-themed musical entertainment.
Refreshments are provided and interested members of the community are always welcome to attend club
meetings.
Members are encouraged to bring food items for the BG Food Pantry.
The hostess committee is Jean Ladd, Louise Tranter, Becky Bhaer and Joyce Horton.
